Ethos Real Estate West’s very own Marti Calderone has obtained her Limited Real Estate Appraiser License! Yay Marti!! She will be training with Ethos West’s Jessie Schmidt.
“Real Estate Appraisers were created in 1991 under Article 26 of Public Act 299 of 1980, as amended, to license and regulate the services of real estate appraisers in Michigan” ~State of Michigan~
Before Real Estate Appraisers were separately licensed, appraisals were primarily done by licensed Real Estate Salespersons, or Real Estate Agents.
Jessie believes: Being a real estate agent makes you a better appraiser, because you are out there seeing what people think when they go thru houses. And being a real estate appraiser makes you a better agent, because you have the training to best understand the market and how the numbers all work!
